Think about it for a second -- what musical forces were greater than that of funk and psychedelic music in the late '60s and early '70s? These forces, combined by bands happy to incorporate folk music and improvisational elements from other musical forms, lead to an amazing body of work still being unearthed by researchers the world over -- and still capable of inspiring new investigations into shapes of rhythm.
It is all about being TERS!!!
Die Architekten is an East German film directed by Peter Kahane. It was released in 1990.
The mood is welcoming and the structure loose. People can volunteer to perform at any point in the night. It is not uncommon to see small clusters of friends gently prodding a shy member of the group to get up and try out their material.
Spoken word night proceeds with a mix of singers, poets, guitar players and writers. Each with their own style, the performers interact easily with the audience. In fact, the audience is as big a part of the experience as the performers; the group has a real generosity towards performers

While most of us are spending time at our warm apartments, thousands of homeless are fighting with cold. HOUSE FOR HOMIES WITHOUT HOME is a collective group of DJs using their creative minds and collaborate for only one idea: Love of house music and desire to help others...
Two friends from Berlin, Paul Technau and Bernardo Aviles-Busch are also the duo behind the project Mondaen. Compiling Detroit and Chicago House and Berlin Techno and Deep House the interaction can be seen in the DJ booth. When we question the meaning of Mondaen, a classic music which is chich and modernized comes out. After the local and international success of Paul’s early project Tiger Rag Club, House for Homies without Home project got many artists and photographers like Casso Wairy come together. The main idea about this project is to raise donation for homeless people through music.

"To the friends and all who have shared memories at Kooperatif…
This is an invitation to come together at Kooperatif, the reason is we must move out from our space… its an forced migration, so called deterritorialization of a big family with different faces, experiences and individuals from all over the World.
Since the beginning “we” have hosted different disciplines of art, acts and meetings here. us all, lots of visitors, travellers, neighbours, have experienced another face of our city and had chance to experience the most and least possible/unexpected capacities of people’s acts in a unity, thus we felt a unity and freedom here, its been an ark in the night and a secret garden but a sunny square as well. While we have been hidden and open. after everything Kooperatif always found its own path from our plans and visions, it was unique and surprising, challenging…
Now, today, Kooperatif has an big obstacle in front of it and must climb over it. Temporarily, (we hope for a short time), Kooperatif will be homeless and looking a a new ark for its journey.…
Our ideas, ideals, acts and plans, dreams and words has changed our city, neighbourhoods and spaces. In this motion and evolution, some “spaces” occur, they appear even in a short time and change the meaning of our routines and face us with new coincidences in our everyday life. Kooperatif has been one of them, an independent and an inspiring one. However, our city has variant routes and agendas. Mostly the cultural capital of the city, she changes her face quickly and is effected by the new dimensions of balance of power and waves of capitals. Thus, the building where Kooperatif had taken place has been sold, to be an hotel or shopping mall. All we know is that we have to move out and it must be an immediate move.
This weekend, right after our meeting on Saturday, Kooperatif will move out and pack all our memories, instruments, furniture and unfulfilled ideas. This unexpected move will not be an end for Kooperatif, we hope to find a new space as soon as possible, which needs struggle and effort. Now we invite you to join and be part of our last meeting here, for the near future to follow and support us for new journey as its been always shared and coincidental common act."
hope you can make it, even if you never been here before, this is a chance to meet wonderful people and share with them a very important moment and support them.

Whether he is travelling the world DJing at some of the finest parties on the planet, or producing tracks that gain support from the cream of the world’s dj elite, Noir (a.k.a. René Kristensen) remains one of the industry’s most respected and hard working individuals.
With over 10 years experience under his belt, Noir gave up his daytime job at the end of 2003 to focus on his dj and production career and hasn’t looked back since. After spending most of 2004 concentrating on perfecting his sound, Noir got his international debut in 2005 and has since had release on labels such as Toolroom, Neurotraxx Deluxe, BluFIn, Global Underground, Parquet Recordings, Monique Musique and of course his own well-respected imprint Noir Music.
A well-respected underground producer for a number of years, he regularly hits the top spot of readers’ polls in music industry magazines - confirming his measure in every important category.
His stratospheric rise in popularity kicked off in 2012, after a legendary first season on Ibiza with his own label-inspired Diynamic Neon Nights at Sankeys.
Here, he and his crew took up the challenge and initiated a take-over of what was becoming a clichéd scene. This first assault on the White Island brought Solomun his just-rewards in the shape of Best Producer title at the DJ Awards Ibiza and DJ of the Year from Mixmag Magazine. It follows that “Neon Nights” will continue at Sankeys again this summer, along with an own night every Sunday at Pacha/Ibiza “Solomun +1”.

Necmiye Elitez and Mesut Mezarc? will be rummaging through their Bismarck-colored Victorian overcoats and take their magnifying glasses out of their proper-noun-embroidered pockets. For the time has struck to leave postmodernity for posterity and to indulge in the acute observation of the multi-colored sins of modernity. This terrible endeavor entails the refraction of Arabic melodies, Berber rhythms, tropical fizzes (and fuzzes) through a wide-ranging spectrum of musical genres between 60s and 80s, ultimately crashing at the fickle attention of the honorable ladies and gentlemen. Queen Victoria will certainly roll in her grave, for seeing such a great deal of effort squandered in the dance-hall rather than in-and-for factories is absolutely preposterous. *(Garage, ye-ye, exotica, punk, post-punk, new wave, no wave, disco)

SHELTER ADD by Riccardo Ajossa, when art is evaluated through paths deserting the bloodless nature of a screen and touches on the virtual as an additional element, echoes of a material which is and remains purely organic: paper.
The exhibition is the first collaboration between Disambigua ArtSpace and Hush Gallery, raised from the wish of a dialogue between two spaces and based on the concept of a 'hosting exhange' with the aim of creating an open dialogue between two realities/containers and the related countries: Italy and Turkey.
To go deeply in SHELTER ADD, we have to imagine a swell of paths connected to the thought and then visualize them going through an uncontaminated nature. Just think about a cold screen to touch that contains sensitive material. Our gesture will move an accumulation of poetic immersions in which recurs a precise chemical formula:(C6H10O5)N. It is cellulose. Paper. Just cherish this formula as an access username for the virtual, a mental aid to cross the codes conversion inherent in things that require automatic gestures, so as to reach in some way the physicalness of the works.
These works require a focused gaze that only the coldness of a screen can give and makes us understand them only in part. They all have a peculiar smell, to which we add that of our skin, while we are listening to the beat of a vital organ, or we imagine its arrest.
The real space that hosts and from which we can access SHELTER ADD is the Hush Gallery, a tangible space. Disambigua ArtSpace (Virtual D), a virtual world, an attempt of reproduction.
Riccardo Ajossa feels the paper and sees a small room as a hangar of possibilities, without censuring the emotion, he lets us return to scents, those of poetry, in spite of everything. N times poetry.

During this conference series, which is oriented on A Thousand Plateaus, written by the philosopher Gilles Deleuze and the psychoanalyst Félix Guattari, the participants are investigating the notions and the ideas presented in the book from different points of views.
In this specifique talk, Elias Sanbar concentrates on the chapter "What is happenning?" and he goes around the notion of "devenir" [to become]. Defending that every individual is a multiplicity in any case and never monolithic, he studies the personal identity problems "in the crowd".
Sorry for non-francophones but the event will be held in French.
The entrance is free but do not forget to enlist yourself via the official website.
"This feature documentary recounts the incredible odyssey of a group of Muslims from China’s persecuted Uyghur minority, the victims of a war fought against Islamist terrorists. “Uyghurs: Prisoners of the Absurd” is a thriller that trails down the winding paths of the labyrinth of current geo-political issues."
The entry to this "War Panaroma" is nine turkish lira.
Guitarist Bilal Karaman is famous for his crossbreed style; his ability to extract Turkish music from traditions and put it in the same pot with Jazz.
Until now, he has worked with famous Jazz musicians such as Ricky Ford, Lawrence Butch Morris, Marcus Miller, Pierre Blanchard and Lars Danielsson.
This time, he is gonna be on the small stage of Cafe Mitanni with his own crew.
The entrance fee is 10 lira.

For two days, you are gonna be listening to some Turkish bands playing Nordic jazz (such dichotomy, yes) or other nice Turkish indie bands, such as The Away Days, before finally getting to see names as James Blake, Tom Odell, Metronomy, Hot Chip, Fink, Julian Casablancas + Voidz or Jose Gonzalez (with his lovely smooth voice, my dear).
The tickets are 110 TL. For those who are not stand-alone, the "Buddy Pack" is 190 TL.
Unfortunately, there is no camping. So go there only if you don't mind sleeping on the beach or waiting an endless taxi queue.

This is definitely gonna be a unique experience for those who are trying to understand the limits of sound, how it jumps in between the walls or travels a long way before it becomes "invisible". OK, this is maybe how a lot fellows like you perceive the sound phenomen (I hope). Putting it aside, Acousmonium gives you the chance to listen to 12 works which are composed for 20 channels sound system. The amazing acoustics of the MIAM building will utterly help you to experience this sonic feast to the fullest.
It's free entry.
