For all you comics enthusiasts out there: For the 3rd year in a row, Red Goblin brings the traditional American "Free Comic Book Day" in Bucharest, offering free comics magazines & the chance to meet other comics fans.
Comic books, movies, TV series, Sci-Fi & fantasy, Japanese culture, anime, manga, boardgames, trading card games, technology - do any of these light up your spirit? Then the East European Comic Con is the place to be. Its official language is English & the guests are names such as Manu Bennett (The Hobbit), the villain Robert Knepper, Strax from Doctor Who, John Noble (Game of Thrones) & many others.
Rajko Milošević a.k.a. Gera and R.M. Guéra is old school type of comic book author and illustrator. He debuted in the Yugoslav comic book industry in 1982. R.M. Gera's work has been published in Spain, France and USA.
Legendary cartoonist Predrag Koraksić Koraks and his humorous caricatures described the situation in the former Yugoslavia in the last decades better than any commentary and analysis. Koraks daily chronicles of, in many ways, the worst decade in the recent history of our area, has a sobering effect and could be possible therapy.
Aleksandar Zograf is comics artist very active at the national and international scene. In his work he travels through time and space, describing the places he visited, and illustrating stories found in ancient long-forgotten books and editions of the newspapers.
