Eighth Balkan Anarchist Bookfair will take place in Mostar on 5th and 6th of September 2014 as part of Anti-fascist festival, annual Mostar event. We invite all anarchist/antiauthoritarian groups, individuals, publishers, initiatives and projects from Balkan (and beyond) to come and participate at BAB in discussions and meetings which will help us build solidarity networks and strong anti-nationalist and anti-capitalist movement.Mostar in many ways represent misery that is imposed on big part of Balkan through divisions created by nationalism, war and fight for power between political elites which were and still are working on destruction of all social networks in town that go beyond these artificial “differences”. All this fits perfect to capitalist logic of “divide and rule”, since it’s used as tool for prevention of all social revolts and attempts to build up social connections that were violently broken.
This evening in Inex Film is dedicated to promote and help Mostar anarchist fair. For that opportunity, we will organize party and open discussion. Material help is more than welcome :)

As most of you already know, some terrible events are shaking France and Europe in the last few days. Besides being crime toward citizens and press drawers, they are a serious attempt to fundamental rights which have been hardly obtained and need to be preserved.
Freedom of speech, Freedom of cult as well.
In solidarity with direct and indirect victims, in a spirit of peace, decency and respect, we suggest to gather in Felicita on Saturday from 18:00.

Protest against killing dolphins in the Taiji Cove/ Japan
We would like to invite you to a peaceful protest against killing and capturing dolphins in the Japanese Cove in Taiji.
Hundreds to thousands of dolphins and small whales are captured and killed each year during the annual dolphin drive hunt in Taiji.
For a staggering six months of every year - September 1st until March - a group of dolphin hunters herd wild dolphins from the ocean’s open waters into a hidden shallow bay, now infamously known around the world as the cove.
The hunters capture entire families, or pods, of various species of dolphins at a time in order to satisfy the international demand for captive dolphins in the entertainment industry. Those taken captive are sent to aquariums and marine parks worldwide. The remaining dolphins are killed by a hunting technique known as “pithing,” which leaves the still conscious dolphins paralyzed and often drowning in the blood of their own family members.
With this happening, we would like to show to Japanese government, that we all do care about what is happening in Taiji and urge them to immediately stop the killing of porpoises, dolphins and other small whales in Japanese coastal waters.
If the ocean dies - we die!
The first in the series of introductory Model United Nations meetings will be split into two: firstly, a short introduction to what Model UN is and how it's done, followed by a semi-MUN style debate on the topic of legalising prostitution.
Neither MUN experience nor knowledge of the topic is required! If you're into debating, or just into constructive conversations, join us on Wednesday!

Stop police controls. Weed smokers against racism!
Once again we meet on the streets of Wrocław to stress the fact that we form a community. A community of people who do not endorse policies of hate and exclusion. We do not want to build our reality on fear – which is the basis of nationalist, fascist, xenophobic and racist attitudes, still present in our city, although they should have been recognised as harmful, outdated and unproductive, and discarded a long time ago.
In Wrocław and in many other Polish cities, the rise of extreme nationalist movements is more and more visible. Their frustration-filled rhetoric leads to the spread of hate within our society. Even young people adopt discriminating attitudes to immigrants, representatives of various cultures and religions, individuals who look or think in a different way than they do.
We go out on the streets because we disagree with the public space being taken over by slogans filled with hate and aggression.
As usual, our parade will be colourful, multicultural and organised by all its participants. We want to fill the streets with respect to other people, regardless of their origin, appearance or sexual orientation.
Let's show that in our diversity we are equal, open and kind.
Together, only for a short while – let's create Wrocław as we want to see it every day – open and safe for everybody.
Join us! Dance with us! Make a better world with us!
LIVEBOAT Chapter 5 addresses the ongoing refugee tragedy in front of national borders and offers space for communication and discourses. After a long odyssey, an oversized refugee boat with translucent membrane runs ashore on Tempelhofer Feld. Inside the boat, multilingual extracts from Homer's Odyssey as well as fragments of refugee experiences are intertwined to a sound carpet. By this artistic impulse, LIVEBOAT wishes to connect with the visitors. A speaker's corner, set up in front of the boat, offers a chance for interested people, those affected as well as visionaries to venture their opinions.

Germany 2014, 81 min
Romanian and German with English subtitles
guest: Sabine Herpich
Sabine Herpich, a young Berlin-based filmmaker, has made a film about a family who arrived in Berlin in such poverty that collecting bottles was their only way to survive. The Badeas, a Romanian family of five, arrived here without knowing which country they were in. They lived in an abandoned shack for some time and got their water from de-freezing ice in the winter before they were able to find a home, get jobs and finally send their children to school. Sabine Herpich teamed up with Diana Botescu, another young Berlin-based filmmaker, to meet the Badeas like big parts of the Berlin population meet the bottle collectors: with a sense of respect, a feeling for other people’s dignity and the knowledge that pity would be incongruous.
Land in Sight (Land in Sicht)

Abdul, Brian und Farid are stranded in a secluded home for asylum seekers in the small town Belzig in the German region of Brandenburg. Starting from there, they are looking for a way into German society. Their imaginations clash with the local mentality at village fests, in government agencies and night clubs. Instead of evoking consternation, Land in Sight focuses on the unintended humour of those encounters.
(Festival of Migrant Film)
Refugees map Berlin based on their experiences: the Afghan urban planner Hamidullah Ehrari, the Syrian merchant Alhadi Aldebs, the Afghan translator Mohammad Yari and the Iranian bioengineer Farhad Ramazanali. The results can be loaded onto smartphones and offer insight into the experience of those who are new to the city.

(ILL)LEGAL CABARET (Stage Show) 19:00 - 22:00
Entry on donation
Re:fugee:ca x (ILL)LEGAL is a migrant and refugee culture festival. Its main goal is to support our refugee and migrant neighbours and the organisations which help them (such as Refugees Work and Refugee Radio Network and more) through an event in which we can experience the unique and worthwhile talents and abilities these new Berliners bring with them to our city, at the same time giving them a platform to express themselves in their own voice with their own artistic output. Thought of as a fundraiser and solidarity event, profits will be donated to refugee organisations and directly to refugee participants themselves.
